Retired Asset - Reinstate and Depreciation

Hi FA Gurus -

In December-16 we have sold couple of assets to an organization with 60 days payment term.

We have closed FA Period Dec-16 and closed 2016 year as well...

In Feb-17, the Customer check was bounced and we got the Assets back to our place.

Shall we re-instate the assets in Feb-17 ?

Shall we restart the depreciation from Dec-16 to Feb-17 ?

Please let me know.
