optimizer_features_enable change

Hi Team,

              I have created a new 11g database and optimizer_features_enable is set to 11g and it had completed UAT testing.... Now, i am planning to change the optimizer_features_enable to 10g as the old database was using the same optimizer value when it was on 11g. So my question is.. if i change my optimizer value to 10, what will happen to existing statistics and secondly what other implication it has to the change..
