Need Information on Auto Pack functionality

We are planing to use Auto pack functionality in the Shipping module.We don't have ware house management license. We have license only for Internal Sales Order Lines.

This is the requirement for our distribution centre. Most of the Time whatever pack supplier send in same pack only they ship to actual destination.

We want to use basic pallet functionality and packing functionality.Is there any document to explain the setup for this?
