Updating OPatch

Hello,

I am having a difficult time trying to update opatch so I can ultimately apply the 2017 Critical Update.

I am running Oracle12.1.0.2, recently installed. on x86-64 Linux.

The problem may be  that I am not using the correct patch.  Or that I am just generally confused at this point and not understanding the instructions. 

I don't see an opatch update to down load for my release explicitly.

I am using the 6880880 patch.  I've tried the closest and most recent patch version, p6880880_122010_Linux-x86-64, but was not successful.

I also tried the p6880880_139000_Generic_linux_64 version.

So, I am in need of some guidance to get past this issue.
