iSupport : Need to restrict Service requests that can be viewed based on SR type

We are trying to use the oracle.apps.ibu.homepage.ServiceRequestBinRenderer and oracle.apps.ibu.homepage.QLServiceRequestBinRenderer on the iSupprt homepage to view Service requests.   We need to restrict Service Request that can be viewed based on SR Type.  

While ServiceRequestBinRenderer allows to view SRs of ALL types in the system, QLServiceRequestBinRenderer does not show any SRs. 

Please help me with setup steps on how to use these classes to be able to control view of SRs based on SR Type
