WO Generation Does Not Allocate Lot Number

Hi there,

I have another issue with Work Order Generation P31410.

We have setup processing option to print parts list and routing and to auto allocate lot number. I noted that on some occasions lot number are not allocated to some of the components even though there are enough quantity. Instead, the quantity are committed against the primary location (soft commit) when inquired on summary availability. This can happen to one component out of several items in the SAME WO and all components are from the same branch plant. Commitment method is 3.

I would like to know does anyone encounter such issue before and what are the possible causes for this.
