OBIEE and HFM Integration

Hi,

We are trying to create HFM reports in OBIEE. We have installed OBIEE, enabled dcom and HFM ADM driver on the same server.

During Share service configuration is it mandatory to register to the same Shared Service to which HFM (HFM) app is registered

and connect to a previously configured Shared Service database?

  Is it possible to perform first-time configuration of Shared Service database and register on new Shared Service database?

  Any specific reason for that?
