httpd processes increasing suddenly sometimes

Hi Experts

Here is a issue need yours comment.

Synonym:

Customer has 2 node application tiers and 3 node database tiers in ASM & RAC environment.

Sometimes customer is facing issue of httpd sessions suddenly increasing in one of Application tier node.

When httpd increased 500+, customer will face performance issue.

I asked customer to debug and reproduce the issue.

customer confirmed at below time httpd processes increased suddenly on pgvclap2 server.

Apache Processes increased to 994 on pgvclap2.eurja.co.in as on Wed Feb 8 11:12:05 IST 2017

Apache Processes increased to 1040 on pgvclap2.eurja.co.in as on Wed Feb 8 16:00:24 IST 2017

Apache Processes increased to 956 on pgvclap2.eurja.co.in as on Wed Feb 8 15:55:05 IST 2017
