R12.2.4 - If we don't need the secondary ledger any more, can we simply disable the ledger?

will just clicking on 'Disable Conversion' on secondary Ledger take care of it ? Will the system stop posting the data from primary to Secondary Ledger ?

Will 'Disable Conversion' deactivate the Secondary Ledger? Will user not be able to create any manual entries or make any adjustment on Secondary Ledger once we 'Disable Conversion' ?
