Copy/Convert SQ to SO

I'm on 9.2 environment.

Client is using the Copy/Convert tab on P42101/W42101C to convert SQ or SB into SO.

What I'm finding is that using this option to 'Convert' the qty on the SQ or SB is not reduced.

Additionally, the Cancel Date is not taken into consideration and allows you to release even though Cancel Date is past due.

I did however see where OORN stores the quote/blanket order that was released.

Is this functioning properly? I think the confusion is that the label doesn't just say 'COPY', it also says 'CONVERT'.

I realize the normal process to release is via P420111.
