Data Masking column identification problem

I have 2 columns in my application that my discovery jobs did not identify.  I have added the columns in 'Edit Application Data Model'.  The columns are both named 'EMPLOYEE_ID'.  When I try to run a new discovery job in OEM they are still not picked up, so I have been unable to mask them.  How do I get around this problem?
