is relink needed after OS kernel patch upgrade? 2 node RAC grid 11.2.0.4

Hi,

Is 2 node RAC. Os is Linux 2.6.18-308.el5

Unix team is going for diver patch upgrade to 2.6.x. we going for rolling upgrade keeping node 1 UP for users giving node 2 to unix for their kernel upgrade.

Is it needed to relink grid and rdbms libraries after kernel update on node 2?

If we left node 1 without kernel update, after node 2 is updated, then will the cluster function with this different node kernel versions?
