PO Cancel and Out of Balance Error

We cancelled a PO using Option 9 in the F4312 and now are receiving an Out of balance error when trying to post a batch.  It looks like an F0911 record was created.  I have not seen this happen previously.  How do you correct this since the batch has no records we can't just reverse the match.
