Can Flex accounting be used to create new GL account?

Hi ,

I would like to know if using Flex accounting we can create a new GL account in F0901.  I tried using R42800 with Flex accounting and the account created does not exist in F0901 so there is an error.  Does this mean for every combination of BU that we create using Flex Accting we need to create/define the GL account to be created in F0901 first. If that is the case i don't really feel that Flex accounting is really effective.

Please advice..
