R12.1.3 - Expected PO receipts not showing in Inventory Supply/Demand

Our client has reported that there are outstanding PO receipts for items but these are now showing against the item Supply/Demand in Inventory.

We checked Oracle note 2108041.1 and found that the need by date was in the past, so in a test environment, we updated the need-by date to be in the future, but the PO still didn't show against the item Supply/Demand.

Can anyone advise what may be causing the issue?
