Employee Master Hourly Rate change with Job Type change
It has been brought to my attention by a payroll department that when changing the job type (and optionnally Job Step) for a union employee, the Employee Master Hourly Rate of the P0801CMP Basic Compensation form is not automatically updated to reflect the new Job Type corresponding pay rate from the F069126 Union Pay Rate table, even though the System Options - HRM Foundation Position Control Options > Pay Rate Source = '1' (Pay Rate Table).
I know that the R059122 Synchronize Employee Master with Union Pay Rates program may be used to synchronize F069126 Union Pay Rates with the EE Master, but for changing the Job Type of an employee, it is not a viable option to run that UBE. I also know that, once the EE Master Job Type change has been completed, if we then open the P0801ORG Basic Compensation form and blank out the Hourly Rate, the program will refresh it using the Union Pay Rate corresponding to the new Job Type, but what if the user forgets to do this?
