Hi,

We are using Fatwire 7.6.2 and trying to provide read only access to some of the users using ElementReader and PageReader but these ACLs only restricting permissions on backend but not on UI. User with these ACLs can see checkout button and Edit link but can't really perform these actions and gets exception message on the UI which is expected but not a great user experience.

We looked at using futuretense_xcel.ini grant/deny functions but this is not an option for use for now atleast because we need to add all roles to allow and deny for few roles and test etc. but is there any other quick way of doing this?

Howdy, Stranger!
