Do you install separate OS patches for an ODA?

Out of curiosity...I know that an ODA runs OEL, which is a glorified version of RHEL. Do you need to install OS patches to an ODA, like you would a regular RHEL host? Or do you just do the regular ODA updates to get OS patches?
