Having to clear user setting's very often..

We have about 1,200 users globally.  11.1.2.4.103, just went through our first close in ARM.  We noticed that we had many, many users getting "stuck", browser locking up, can't get back in.  We would have to clear the user setting's, then they magically started working again.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Appears only an admin can clear the settings.  Any ideas on how to make this self service?  Why even have the button, is it a know bug that required it?

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?  How are you coping with it?  This is requiring us to have ARM support 24x7, which isn't our support model..
