NCC SMS Screens "Unsigned" After the April 2017 JRE/JDK CPU Release

in Charging and Control Applications (MOSC) Question

This document applies to Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control, versions 4.3.0 to 5.0.2 (Miranda) with regards to the April 2017 Java Critical Patch Update.

The Java CPU that will be released in April 2017 will deem as 'Unsigned' the OCNCC .jars that are being used for Service Management Service screens (SMS) for all NCC versions prior to 5.0.3 (which is not affected). This means that the SMS screens may fail to launch and warn the users that the application is unsigned, resulting in the inability of using NCC's graphical user interface. The rest of the system will not be affected - this is specific only for NCC's SMS screens.
