configured items validation

Hi all,

I have a problem in validation of a configured item. I am using a dynamic validation for an item that has 280 cross segment rules and the system blocks after 5 minutes and cannot make the validation. How can I solve it, do I need to add RAM? Sorry for this general question, but I am stuck.
