How to book a physical NIC to VMs only

We actually have only one physical NIC configured on our appliance. Actually such NIC is used both for Oracle DB (ODA_BASE) and VMs.

Let's suppose I want to use a NIC for database traffic, and another NIC only for VMs, without have to configure an IP on this NIC from Dom0 or ODA_BASE (both of NICs will be attacched on the same subnet).

How to perform that? Is that possible?
