Unable to Move Asset from one org to another if the asset is customer owned asset

We have requirement to move asset from one org to another and it applies to customer owned asset as well. Sometime due to re-org within organization, we need to do this but oracle do not allow to do move asset when the asset is customer owned.

Pls let us know your thoughts and possible resolution.
