Dynamic setting of the Page Layout value in RTF template

Hello.

Oracle BI Publisher 11.1.1.7.150120

Could you please help me with following problem? I need to create the report with RTF template that will be printed in PDF and report should have the page orientation settings (landscape or portrait) depending on report parameter. As I understand page layout should be set in Word properties only, so it is not possible to define it dynamically from template. I tried to use two sub-templates with both orientation and showed just one of them basing on the parameter, but it looks like that RTF template does not inherit page orientation from sub-template.
