PM Schedule

I am looking for document which explains me simple steps to implement -
Preventive maintenance module of JDE E920.
What users are expecting to achieve is -
1. Set up PM schedule for equipment
2. Automatic reminders for maintenance as in PM backlog.
3. If 3rd party is used for servicing the equipment - reminder with service provider details
4. Create Work orders or purchase orders as required
5. See effect in PM schedule
I am bit confused because lot of applications are starting with P12* and then P13* and P17*, really dont know which are correct applications to use.
We do not want to use MRP for this.
