KK_EXCPTN_TBL Contains Records that are not Actively in Budget Error (PeopleSoft 9.2)

Hello all! Hoping that someone might have some info on the KK Budget Exceptions process in PeopleSoft 9.2.

One of my end users is having an issue with the Budget Exceptions screen in Commitment Control. When they search for exceptions by BU and Ledger Group, the search is returning records that when drilled into, aren't in any kind of error or warning status. My date range is set wide open (01/01/1901 - Present) so I know that the issue isn't in the filtering. As a result the end user is going into every project daily and notating all reqs and POs in budget check error in an excel spreadsheet. Has anyone else run into something like this?
