pdb from standalone

I just upgraded an 11.2.0.4 to 12.1.0.2.  Surprised there was no option I could find that could be selected to make the upgrade become a PDB.   Isn't that a given these days with multitenancy?   So, how do I move from the new upgraded standalone to a PDB?  Not finding it in Oracle docs.  This might be a way:  https://oracle-base.com/articles/12c/multitenant-clone-remote-pdb-or-non-cdb-12cr1
