Tracking lot controlled components to specific finished good

We have a requirement where we need to be able to track which lot of a raw material went into a specific finished good.  If I have a work order for multiple finished goods and use two lots of raw materials to complete those goods, how can I tell specifically which lot went into which finished good?  Or, to achieve this do I need to have one work order per finished good?
