Oracle GI 12102 installing user cannot perform addnode operation

Our Database is 12c Release 1 on windows 2012 R2 and underlying storage is on ASM. we have 2 nodes already set up and running and we want to add one more node to the existing setup.(ALL the three nodes are identical os/memory/cpu/os patches)

I prepared the new node 3 by completing all the pre-reqs before running addnode.bat on node 1, the add node wizard reports that the existing oracle home was not installed or cloned using the current user id.However,i used the same ID(domain user) which has administrative privileges and it is a built in account used for installing binaries across the environments.(we plan to use to standard windows users account going forward). I also tried installing in silent mode with no success.
