ODA X6-2S: about the physical and logical drive layout

Hello,

Our ODA has been installed by an Oracle partner, with an initial ACFS database (deleted since then); the release is 12.1.2.9.0.

I'm currently trying to understand how the various pieces are put together at their basic level.

Unfortunately, I'm a true newbie wrt ODA, and even Linux; hence this post.

Let's consider the output of lsblk:

NAME                              MAJ:MIN    RM   SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT

nvme0n1                           259:0       0   2,9T  0 disk

├─nvme0n1p1                       259:1       0   1,2T  0 part

├─nvme0n1p2                       259:2       0   1,8T  0 part

├─nvme0n1p1 (dm-6)                252:6       0   1,2T  0 part

└─nvme0n1p2 (dm-8)                252:8       0   1,8T  0 part

nvme1n1                           259:3       0   2,9T  0 disk

├─nvme1n1p1                       259:4       0   1,2T  0 part

├─nvme1n1p2                       259:5       0   1,8T  0 part

Howdy, Stranger!
