Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Oracle Database in Deployment server MTR

Hello All,

I notice that in MTR for Deployment server with TR 9.2.1.0, Oracle Database is mentioned alongwith Oracle db client.

I could not find information about need of oracle database on Deployment server. before 9.2.1.0. it was only oracle 32 bit client and OEE.

can someone please help me to know why do we need Oracle Database on deployment server?
