Avoid getting Connection Pool Exhausted issues

Hi All,

How can we avoid getting into Connection Pool Exhausted in OTM ? like

"Error Exception Connection pool DEDICATED_SECURITY is exhausted"

"Unable to allocate additional threads to the DEDICATED_DBA connection pool"

Is there a possibility to get notified before the connection pool could get exhausted ? So appropriate action can be taken before the application is completely down.
