Unable to use expdp or impdp on my 12c pdb.

I'm Running Oracale Standard Edtion(2) 12.1.0.2.0

I have my CDB and PDB all setup and running with an Oracle APEX installed on the PDB level.

I am unable to run expdp to export the pdb.  I basically am unable to connect the expdp to the PDB to run the thing.  I can however use a CDB common user to run expdb but it is only exporting CDB objects.  No matter what connection name I used with expdp it seems to be trying to connect to the CDB.

My ORACLE_SID = APEX

My service name is APEX5.[domain].net

I have tnsnames.ora entries as follows:
