Enabled Database Flashback 2 weeks back - Not seeing flashback files deletion message in alert.log

We have enabled DB flashback in production 2 weeks back for FLASHBACK and ARCHIVED logs. I have following few questions.

1. What triggers Oracle to delete files from FRA? Is it only the flashback retention period?

2. I read that when FRA becomes 100% full, database will hang. In this situation, what immediate steps should be taken to quickly free up space?

3. Why I am not seeing any messages in alert.log such as "Deleted Oracle managed file..." even though flash back files seem to be getting deleted?  I enabled flashback on 2/25 and I am seeing oldest files from 3/2. So, old files have deleted but I am not seeing any files deletion messages in alert.log

Howdy, Stranger!
