Help needed in Siebel Email template[specifications to insert images in Email template body]

our Business users are expecting images in the email templates, we can able to insert images in to Email templates by copying the images for the shared location and pasting in the Email body,but

while copying in the email template it looks good but when we use the email template to send the mail to users the template is not formatted correctly.

can some one give us the specifications like how to get the images with correct format in the template body.
