Hi

we are configuring ASM storage for a stand alone 12c database

The storage is local to the server

There are 6 drives configured with RAID 10 with a total space of appx 3.3 TB

The system admin created 16 partitions from that single logical volume of 3.3 TB. He used fdisks to create those partitions

First partition is mounted as xfs file system and would be used for ORACLE HOME

The rest are going to be used as ASM disks

Here is the output from parted

Model: Cisco UCSC-MRAID12G (scsi)

Disk /dev/sdb: 3597GB

Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B

Partition Table: gpt_sync_mbr

Howdy, Stranger!
