How to Set up a SQL Script to Write from one collection plan to another collection plan

Hi,  What I am asking is that I need to keep a count of how many records are entered into a collection plan by a part number for a specific status.  I need a way to increment the number of records entered then when the count gets to a certain number is will send a message to let the QC Staff know that the status needs to be changed.  I have written a procedure to do the update.  This procedure will get the current count in the collection plan that keeps the count and increment it by 1 then update
