Is there a core functionality in INV to get a snapshot of the on-hand on a specific day?

Hi all,

Is there a core functionality in INV to get a snapshot of the on-hand on a specific day?

I need a table that gets all the history of the on-hand for an item by day.

So, I can extract a report to get this info. Basically, it will have a parameter with a snapshot date that I would like to know the on-hand for an item on that specific date.

We'll probably create a custom table, but I'd like just to make sure that there's nothing similar in core functionality.
