cleanup after moving to new system, moved from AIX oracle system back in December to Linux oracle

we moved from AIX oracle system back in December to Linux oracle.

I am now looking at how to best cleanup old database's and ensure the data cannot be read by anyone.

Do I just delete from ASM? Then delete ASM?

how do I ensure that no one can come by later and still get data off the system?
