Can you manually advance the status of a shipment in E1 9.0?

We have an issue that sometimes occurs, when the Sales Order Statuses advance at Ship Confirmation but the Shipment Status does not advance (F4215.XHSSTS).  We need a way to manually advance that status in the system without using SQL.
