EM 12c: SQL equivalence to the 'Database Space Usage' report

Hi everybody,

we used to make use of the following EM 12c feature to keep track of our DBs space usage over time:

Enterprise -> Reports -> Information Publisher Reports -> Storage > Oracle Database Space Usage > Database Space Usage (Group)

Then collecting data relating to the "Size (GB)" and "Used (GB)" columns of the generated report (i.e. space allocated and used for all our DBs).

The problem since Jan. 2017 (installation of System Patch 12.1.0.5.161231, Patch 25223982) is that part of this data is no longer available (due to bug 12394920 - "the db_tablespaces.tablespace_used_size was disabled because collection information for this was causing performance issues at OMS level").
