how to replicate sequences and make sure they are replicating in OGG

Hello GG gurus,

our source db is configured for replicating sequence in uni-directional env(checked the parameters in source and target needed for replication of sequences)

but the last_number in target is less than that of source.

1.Is there another way to check if sequences are being replicated at any point of time other than last_number?

2.if i do flush sequence in source the last_number is increasing in source but not in target...is it the way it is designed that flush sequence schema.sequence

does not work if used any time it is used in extract....as per doc "Use FLUSH SEQUENCE immediately after you start Extract for the first time during an initial
