LCM support for Drop shipment Scenario, Any feasible work around?

One of our client asking for functionality of LCM in the scenario of Drop shipment.

We came to know it is an enhancement request with following reference:Bug 9300750 - LCM DOES NOT WORK FOR DROP SHIP PO
Bug 10283366 - LCM SUPPORT FOR DROP SHIPMENT POS IN DISCRETE MFG ORGANIZATIONS
Bug 10283340 - LCM SUPPORT FOR DROP SHIPMENT POS IN OPM ORGANIZATIONS

To my knowledge I could not advise on any work around since the lcm integration process stage it self the requirement is failing.

Please share If anybody come across similar requirement where work around can be used to meet the requirement.
