ok, so i've had the x5-2's for about 2 years now i can definitively say these machines are troublesome at best.  support is scarce.  customer base is small.  the IOPS issues are REAL!  we've had to spend exorbitant amounts of time to carve out hot blocks onto the SSD's manually and play around with underscore params in order to squeak out some performance form these things.  the 7200rpm drives are dog slow.  you also have to be EXTREMELY careful not to run out of space on an acfs volume (especially REDO b/c that's where the stupid accelerator volume is).  if
