How to update the cycle count items to reflect only the specific sub-inventories selected

Hi. The business want to update the cycle count list of items to reflect only the specific sub-inventories selected.

I have test different scenarios on this and looks like the item assignment for the cycle counts are based on the compiler and does not update based on the sub inventories selected. In other words, If the complier is created at the organization level, it picks all the items from the organization, even though only some of the sub inventories are selected at the cycle count level.
