Greetings!

we need to meet subject factors for physical standby databases.

I'm looking for suggestions in terms of protection mode and number of physical standby databases requirements to safeguard a single production oracle database keeping in view zero or near data loss RPO with RTO of 20 minutes and 99.95% SLA.

challenges -

sync protection mode --> Production HANG Threat

async protection mode --> Data Loss Threat

I saw some suggestions to deploy 2 physical standby databases, 1 with sync and 1 with async but for this customer have to procure 2 database EE licenses for standby datacenter which does'nt suite.

please suggest.
