Purging WIP_PERIOD_BALANCES ?

Hi,

I'm an EBS DBA and i don't have really knowledge about WIP module and features. I'm working for a customer on performance and volumetry optimization by using Oracle partitioning.

I've checked our DB to identify the biggest tables good candidates to partitioning and the biggest table was WIP_PERIOD_BALANCES : 80 GB (excluded indexes) and around 600 millions lines.

I was planning at first to study this table partitioning and partitioning key but, as i don't really know well WIP module, i've check MOS to gather information about it.
