Impact of changing LE,BSV,Cost center, INV Org for Install base

Hello,

We have a requirement where the business want to change legal enitity name, balancing segment value and cost center account number. We are in R12.1.3 and our current multi-org structure is

1 BG - 1 LE-Ledger- 1 OU- 1 Inv Org- Multiple subinventories, few subinventories are locator controlled. Modules used are Teleservice, Depot Repair, Install base, OM,BOM, WIP, INV, AR, PO, COST.

What we are thinking for new requirement is to create a new legal entity, a new inv org and associate new LE created to existing Ledger and new Inv org to exisiting OU and eventudally end date old LE and Inv Org after all old transaction with old org structure is closed out.
