Prepayment invoice type AP R12.1.3

Hi,

Can I repay prepayment again after I apply the transaction to it?

For ex: I have 1 prepayment with 1000 $ after that I make invoice with 500$ and apply it to the prepayment, now net of prepayment = 500$ , so can I pay this prepayment again to refill it again? how?
