Oracle 12c Multitenant Database adoption

We're planning to implement multitenant database feature in our organization. can you please help to provide some business benefits/ recommendation/cost benefits analysis documents.

Also, If we're on cloud, Does it's still recommended to have MAA architecture with  PDBs.
